The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has published the OTET 2026 provisional answer key for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test conducted on July 5, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the offline examination can now access the answer key through the official BSE Odisha examination portal.
Along with releasing the provisional answer key, the board has also opened the facility for candidates to challenge any answer they believe is incorrect. By comparing their responses with the official answer key, candidates can estimate their likely scores before the declaration of the final result.

Each correct answer carries 1 mark.
There is no negative marking for incorrect responses.

OTET 2026 Answer Key Objection Process
The Answer Key Objection Portal will be activated from July 24, 2026, allowing candidates to submit objections online.
To challenge an answer key, follow these steps:
Visit the official BSE Odisha website.
Log in using your Roll Number and Password.
Click on the Answer Key Challenge option.
Select the question number and the answer you wish to challenge.
Upload supporting documents or evidence to justify your claim.
Review the details and submit the objection through the portal.
Save the acknowledgement for future reference.
OTET 2026 Answer Key Challenge Fee
BSE Odisha has clarified that no fee will be charged for raising objections against the OTET 2026 provisional answer key. Candidates can submit valid challenges free of cost through the official objection portal.
What Happens After the Objection Window Closes?
Once the objection period ends, all submitted challenges will be reviewed by subject experts appointed by BSE Odisha. If any objection is found to be valid, the board will revise the answer key accordingly.
After completing the review process, BSE Odisha will publish the final answer key, which will be treated as conclusive. No further objections or challenges will be accepted after the final answer key is released.
