The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has published the MHT CET 2026 Provisional Merit List for candidates seeking admission to undergraduate engineering and technology programmes through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP).

Candidates who have completed the registration and document verification process can now check their provisional ranks on the official CAP admission portal. Applicants are advised to carefully review the details mentioned in the merit list and report any discrepancies within the specified deadline.

The provisional merit list has been prepared for admissions to BE, BTech, and Integrated Master of Engineering and Technology programmes for the 2026–27 academic session. It includes the rankings of all eligible candidates who successfully completed the admission formalities.

MHT CET 2026 Merit List: Objection Facility Available Until July 25

Candidates who notice any error in their provisional merit details can submit an online grievance from July 23 to July 25, 2026.

The CET Cell allows candidates to request corrections related to:

• Candidate's name

• Category

• Merit rank

• Uploaded documents

• Other admission-related details

All valid objections will be reviewed before the final merit list is released.

Final Merit List to Be Released on July 27

After examining the grievances received from candidates, the CET Cell will publish the final merit list on July 27, 2026.

The final rankings will be used for seat allotment under the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for engineering admissions across participating colleges in Maharashtra.

• First visit the official MHT CET CAP admission portal.

Counselling Process After the Final Merit List
