The Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) 2026 Iteration IV seat allotment result is expected to be announced on July 22, 2026. Candidates who took part in the counselling process will be able to check their allotment status through the official BITS admission portal.

The Iteration IV result will reflect seat allocation based on a candidate’s BITSAT score, preferred branch and campus choices, and the availability of seats across BITS Pilani, BITS Goa, and BITS Hyderabad.

Candidates who receive a fresh allotment or an upgraded seat in a higher-preference programme must complete the required admission formalities within the prescribed deadline.

How to Check BITSAT 2026 Iteration IV Seat Allotment

Follow these steps to view the allotment result:

• Visit the official BITS admission portal.

• Click on the Iteration IV Result / Iteration 4 Seat Allotment link.

• Enter your Application Number and Password.

• Log in to view your seat allotment status.

• Download and save the allotment result for future admission procedures.

BITSAT 2026 Exam Pattern

The BITSAT 2026 examination consisted of 130 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 390 marks.

• Correct answer: +3 marks

• Incorrect answer: -1 mark

• Unanswered question: 0 marks

BITS Pilani uses raw scores for counselling and does not apply score normalisation between different examination sessions.

Expected BITSAT 2026 Rank vs Score Analysis

Approximately 3.4 lakh candidates are estimated to have registered for BITSAT 2026 across both sessions. Since many students score within similar ranges, even a small difference in marks can significantly influence rank and seat allotment.

Seat Movement in Later Iterations

BITS Pilani follows a merit-based admission process and does not apply central or state caste-based reservation policies. During later counselling rounds, seat availability may change because some candidates withdraw after securing admission through JoSAA, JAC Delhi, or other counselling processes.

Historically, closing scores may decrease by 2–5 marks between Iteration III and Iteration IV due to such seat movement.
