The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is expected to announce the WBJEE 2026 Round 2 seat allotment result today, July 21, 2026. Candidates who participated in the counselling process will be able to check their allotment status by logging into the official WBJEEB counselling portal using their login credentials.

According to the counselling schedule, the Round 2 allotment link is likely to be activated between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Once the results are declared, candidates can download their provisional allotment letter and complete the admission formalities within the specified deadline.

• Log in using your WBJEE Roll Number, password, and security pin.

• View the allotted institute and course details.

• Download the provisional allotment letter and keep it safe for future admission formalities.

What to Do After Seat Allotment

Candidates who are allotted a seat for the first time must pay the non-refundable seat acceptance fee of Rs 5,000 through the online payment gateway to confirm their admission.

Those who receive an upgraded allotment should download the updated allotment letter and report to the newly allotted institute within the prescribed schedule.

Candidates who wish to participate in the next counselling round instead of accepting their current allotment can register for the Round 3 Mop-Up counselling, which will be held from July 24 to July 26, 2026.

Reporting and Document Verification

Candidates selecting either the Freeze or Upgrade option are required to report to the allotted institute in person after paying the seat acceptance fee. During reporting, all original documents will be verified.

Failure to complete document verification and physical reporting before the deadline will result in the allotted seat being cancelled.

As per the counselling guidelines, 10% of the approved seats in participating self-financing institutions are reserved for candidates who qualified through JEE Main.

Candidates should ensure that all documents submitted during verification—including the domicile certificate, WBJEE rank card, and income certificate (where applicable)—match the details provided during the counselling registration process.
