The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will close the online application process for the Probationary Officer (PO) and Management Trainee (MT) Recruitment 2026 today, July 21, 2026. Eligible candidates who have not yet registered can submit their applications through the official IBPS website before the registration deadline expires.

The recruitment is being conducted under the Common Recruitment Process (CRP PO/MT-XVI) for appointments in participating public sector banks during the 2027–28 recruitment cycle. Along with completing the application form, candidates must also pay the prescribed application fee by the end of the day.

IBPS PO Recruitment 2026: Vacancy Details

IBPS has announced a total of 7,365 vacancies for the posts of Probationary Officer (PO) and Management Trainee (MT). The vacancy count has been revised upward compared to the earlier notification.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the recruitment, candidates must possess a graduate degree from a recognised university.

Age Limit

Applicants should be 20 to 30 years of age as of July 1, 2026. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the Government of India guidelines.

Application Fee

The application fee is as follows:

• General/OBC/EWS: Rs 850

• SC/ST/PwBD: Rs 175

The fee must be paid online before the application window closes.
