The Bank of India (BOI) has released a recruitment notification for the post of Credit Officer. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official website of Bank of India at bankofindia.bank.in.

The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 779 Credit Officer vacancies across different scales. Candidates must complete the online application process before the last date, July 20, 2026. Bank of India Credit Officer Vacancy Details 2026

The vacancies have been divided across different management grades:

• MMGS-II: 677 posts

• MMGS-III: 61 posts

• SMGS-IV: 41 posts

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the Credit Officer posts must have:

• A graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade.

• For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories, the minimum required marks are 55%.

• Candidates with professional qualifications such as CA, CMA-ICWA, CS, or CFA are also eligible to apply.

The qualification should be recognised by the Government of India or accepted as an equivalent qualification by the Central Government.

Age Limit

The age criteria vary according to the management grade:

• MMGS-II: 25 to 32 years

• MMGS-III: 28 to 35 years

• SMGS-IV: 32 to 45 years

Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules.

Selection Process for BOI Credit Officer Recruitment 2026

The selection process will be based on an online examination and/or personal interview, depending on the number of applicants and eligible candidates.

The online test will consist of:

• Total Questions: 125

• Maximum Marks: 125

• Duration: 120 minutes

The examination pattern includes:

• English Language: 25 questions

• Professional Knowledge related to the post: 100 questions

The Professional Knowledge section and other tests, except English Language, will be conducted in both English and Hindi.

The English Language section will be qualifying in nature, and marks obtained in this section will not be included while preparing the final merit list. Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by the bank.

The merit list will be prepared category-wise based on marks obtained in the Professional Knowledge section of the online examination, arranged in descending order.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay the following application charges:

• General and other categories: Rs 850

• SC/ST/PwBD candidates: Rs 175

The fee can be paid through online payment modes, including:

• Credit Card

• Debit Card

• Internet Banking

• Cash Card/Mobile Wallet

• QR Code

• UPI
