The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of the SWAYAM January 2026 semester examinations. Candidates who appeared for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) can now access and download their scorecards through the official SWAYAM examination portal.

The SWAYAM January 2026 semester exams were conducted from June 17 to June 21, 2026, across 10 examination sessions. The tests were held at 201 centres spread across 149 cities nationwide, covering a total of 898 courses.

The NTA has released results for 829 courses that were conducted entirely in CBT mode. The evaluation process for the remaining 69 courses, which followed a hybrid examination format, is still underway. Candidates enrolled in these courses are advised to keep checking the official website for the latest updates.

SWAYAM January 2026 Exam Statistics

As per the NTA:

• Total candidates registered: 1,26,773

• Total candidates who appeared: 1,07,887

• CBT-mode courses: 1,22,953 registrations and 1,04,834 candidates appeared

• Hybrid-mode courses: 3,820 registrations and 3,053 candidates appeared

Steps to Download the SWAYAM January 2026 Scorecard

Candidates can check their results by following these steps:

• First visit the SWAYAM examination official website.

• Open the Public Notices section on the homepage.

• Click on the link for the SWAYAM January 2026 CBT Result.

• Enter your application number and the required login details.

• Submit the information to view your result.

• Download and save the scorecard for future use.

The NTA has stated that its responsibility is limited to conducting the examination, publishing the results, and forwarding the scores to the Ministry of Education. The final scorecards and certificates will be issued by the respective National Coordinators of each SWAYAM course.
