The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has issued the Veterinary Inspector Admit Card 2026 for candidates appearing in the upcoming recruitment examination. The hall tickets were released on July 15, 2026, ahead of the written examination scheduled for July 19, 2026.

Applicants who registered for the Veterinary Inspector recruitment under Advertisement No. 10/2026 can download their admit cards by visiting the official PSSSB website. The recruitment drive is being conducted for vacancies under the Directorate of Animal Husbandry, Punjab.

PSSSB Veterinary Inspector Recruitment Schedule

The recruitment notification was published on April 24, 2026, and the online application process began on May 4. The original application window closed on May 25, 2026.

Following an increase in the number of vacancies, the board reopened the registration process from June 13 to June 19, 2026, allowing additional eligible candidates to apply.

The written examination will now be conducted on July 19, 2026, and candidates are advised to download and print their admit cards well before the exam date to avoid any last-minute issues.

Vacancy Details and Eligibility

PSSSB is conducting the recruitment drive to fill 310 Veterinary Inspector posts, an increase from the initially announced 150 vacancies.

To be eligible for the post, candidates must possess a Diploma in Veterinary Science and Animal Health Technology. Applicants should be between 18 and 37 years of age as of January 1, 2026. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable for reserved category candidates as per Punjab government norms.

Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of approximately Rs 45,000, in accordance with the applicable pay scale.

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of multiple stages. Candidates must first qualify in the written examination, after which shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. The final stage of the selection process includes a medical examination.

Important Instructions for Candidates

The admit card is a compulsory document for entry into the examination centre. Candidates must carry a printed copy of the hall ticket along with a valid government-issued photo identity proof. They should also carefully read and follow all the instructions mentioned on the admit card to ensure a smooth examination process.
