The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the NEET UG Answer Key 2026 along with scanned OMR answer sheets and recorded responses for candidates who appeared in the examination. Applicants can now access the provisional answer key and response sheet through the official NEET website.

According to the official notification, NTA has uploaded scanned copies of candidates’ OMR sheets and recorded answers on the portal. The agency has also sent scanned OMR sheet images to the registered email addresses provided by candidates during the NEET UG 2026 application process.

Candidates Can Access Recorded Responses Through Login

Candidates need to log in to the official NEET portal using their registered credentials to view their scanned OMR sheets and recorded responses.

To strengthen security and protect candidate information, NTA has introduced a Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) system. Candidates will have to verify their identity by entering a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to their registered mobile number and email address before accessing the documents.

NEET UG Answer Key Objection Window Open

NTA has also activated the facility to challenge the provisional answer key. Candidates who find any discrepancy in the published answers can submit objections online until July 15, 2026.

A processing fee of Rs 200 per challenged response must be paid for each objection submitted. The payment can be completed through debit card, credit card, or net banking. NTA has clarified that challenges submitted without payment of the required fee will not be considered.

Steps to Download NEET UG Answer Key 2026

Candidates can follow these steps to download the provisional answer key:

• First visit the official NTA NEET website.

• Click on the NEET UG Answer Key 2026 link available on the homepage.

• Enter the required login credentials.

• Submit the details to access the answer key.

• Review the answers and download the document.

• Keep a printed copy of the answer key for future reference.

NEET UG Re-Examination Details

The NEET UG re-examination was conducted on June 21, 2026, in a single shift from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm. The re-exam was held after the cancellation of the earlier May 3 examination for more than 20 lakh candidates following allegations of a paper leak.

The result of the re-conducted National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2026 is expected to be announced by July 20, 2026, according to an NTA official. While the exact result date has not been confirmed, the agency has indicated that preparations for the result declaration are underway.

The official also stated that the academic schedule for MBBS students will not be affected due to the re-examination process.
