The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has commenced the registration process for MAH MHMCT Counselling 2026-27 for admission to the Master of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (MHMCT) programme. Eligible candidates can now complete the online registration through the official counselling portal.

The application window will remain open until July 24, 2026, at 5:00 pm. Candidates interested in participating in the counselling process must complete their registration before the deadline.

The CET Cell has also announced the counselling timeline for document verification and merit list publication.

Candidates will have an opportunity to report discrepancies in the provisional merit list during the grievance window. The final seat allotment will be based on the candidate's MAH MHMCT CET 2026 rank and the college preferences submitted during counselling.

Steps to Register for MAH MHMCT Counselling 2026

Candidates can complete the registration process by following these steps:

• First visit the MAH CET counselling official portal.

• Click on the New Candidate Registration option.

• Register using a valid name, email address, and mobile number.

• Log in using the generated application ID and password.

• Fill in the online counselling application form.

• Upload the required documents and pay the prescribed application fee.

• Enter your preferred colleges and course choices.

• Submit the application and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Documents Required

Applicants should keep the following documents ready before beginning the registration process:

• SSC (Class 10) mark sheet

• HSC (Class 12) mark sheet

• Diploma or bachelor's degree mark sheet (where applicable)

• Category certificate and supporting documents (if applicable)

• Candidature-related documents

• Proof of Indian nationality

• School leaving certificate (if required)

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the first-year MHMCT programme must satisfy the following requirements:

• Must be an Indian citizen.

• Should have completed a four-year Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT) or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% marks.

• Candidates belonging to Reserved Categories, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) must have secured at least 45% marks.

• Must have obtained a non-zero score in the MAH MHMCT CET 2026 examination.

For sponsored category admissions, applicants must also possess a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered company, industry, educational institution, research organisation, government department, or autonomous body relevant to the field.

Candidates are advised to complete the registration and document verification process within the prescribed schedule to avoid last-minute issues during counselling.
