The Delhi Police has announced the schedule for the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) for Delhi Police Examination 2025. The physical test will begin from July 25, 2026 (Saturday) for candidates applying for the posts of Constable (Executive), Constable (Driver), Head Constable (Ministerial), and Head Constable (AWO/TPO).

Candidates who successfully cleared the Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be eligible to appear for the PE&MT round. The e-Admit Card for the physical test will be issued soon through the official Delhi Police website.

Applicants appearing for the test must carry their original documents, a valid photo identity card, and recent passport-size photographs on the examination day. Candidates are advised to carefully read all instructions mentioned in the official notification before appearing for the test.

Delhi Police Constable PE&MT Exam Schedule 2026

The PE&MT round for Delhi Police Examination 2025 will commence on July 25, 2026. The department has not yet released the complete date-wise and centre-wise schedule.

Candidates will receive details regarding their test date, reporting time, and examination venue through their e-Admit Card, which will be available on the official website soon.

Documents Required for Delhi Police PE&MT 2026

Candidates must bring the following documents to the PE&MT venue. Failure to produce the required documents may lead to disqualification:

• PE&MT e-Admit Card

• 10 recent passport-size colour photographs

• Valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID Card, PAN Card, or any government-issued ID

• Original educational certificates

• Original caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates, if applicable)

• Original Driving Licence (for relevant posts)

• One set of self-attested photocopies of all required documents

Instructions for Ex-Servicemen Candidates

Ex-servicemen currently serving in the department must carry a No Objection Certificate (NOC) mentioning their expected date of discharge. Candidates who have already retired must bring their Discharge Book/Certificate along with the required undertaking.

Guidelines for Special Category (Commando) Candidates

Ex-servicemen candidates applying for Constable (Executive) under the special category must provide relevant certificates proving their service in Special Forces/NSG, along with documents related to Commando Course qualification and grading or specialised commando service in the Navy/Air Force.

Instructions for Female Candidates

Candidates who are pregnant, have recently delivered a child, or have experienced a miscarriage will not be allowed to participate in the Physical Endurance Test during the confinement period. Such candidates must submit a request along with valid medical certificates.

PE&MT Test Process

The physical test will be conducted in a specific sequence. Candidates who qualify in the race event will be allowed to participate in the Long Jump and High Jump, with three attempts provided for each event.

Only candidates who clear all three physical events will proceed to the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) stage. The decision regarding disqualification during the test will be final, and no appeals against such decisions will be accepted.
