The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) Cell has started the online application process for CAP Round 1 admissions to second-year (Lateral Entry) BE and BTech programmes for the 2026 academic session. Eligible candidates seeking direct admission to the second year of engineering courses can submit their applications through the official counselling portal.

According to the admission schedule, the application window will remain open until July 19, 2026. Candidates must also complete document verification and application confirmation by July 20, 2026.

The provisional merit list for Maharashtra State and All India candidates will be released on July 22, 2026. After the grievance submission process, the final merit list will be published on July 27, 2026.
