The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the NEET UG 2026 exam fee refund window once again for candidates who appeared in the May 3, 2026 examination. The exam was later cancelled due to an alleged paper leak and rescheduled for June 21, 2026.

Eligible candidates who have not yet submitted or confirmed their bank account details can now do so through the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, until 11:50 PM on July 14, 2026.

NTA Gives Candidates Another Chance to Claim Refund

According to the NTA, over 20 lakh candidates appeared for the NEET UG examination conducted on May 3. However, only 10,28,233 candidates had completed the process of submitting their bank account details for the refund.

To ensure that all eligible candidates receive their refund, the agency has reopened the portal, allowing applicants to update or verify their banking information.

In an official notice issued on July 7, 2026, the NTA stated that many candidates had still not confirmed their bank details. Therefore, the refund portal has been reopened to provide another opportunity for eligible students to complete the process.

How to Update Bank Details for NEET UG 2026 Refund

Candidates can follow these steps to submit or update their bank account information:

• First visit the NEET official website.

• Click on the "Bank Account Details Confirmation/Updation" link on the homepage.

• Complete the required two-factor authentication process.

• Enter your bank account details carefully.

• Upload a cancelled cheque, if required, to help verify the bank account information.

• Submit the details before the deadline.
