The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will release the WBJEE Counselling 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result on July 7, 2026. Candidates who participated in the first phase of counselling can check their allotted seats through the official WBJEE counselling portal by logging in with their credentials.

The Round 1 allotment result will include important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, allotted course, allotted institute, and category under which the seat has been assigned.

Candidates who are allotted seats in the first round must complete the admission formalities, including payment of the seat acceptance fee and reporting to the allotted college, by July 11, 2026.

WBJEE 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment and Admission Schedule

The seat allotment result will be made available through the candidate login section on the official WBJEE website. To access the result, candidates need to:

• Visit the official WBJEE counselling website.

• Click on the Round 1 seat allotment result link.

• Enter the application number and password.

• Submit the details to view the allotment status.

The counselling process began with registration, payment of the counselling fee, and choice filling from June 30 to July 5, 2026. During this period, candidates were also allowed to edit and lock their preferred choices.

After the Round 1 allotment result declaration on July 7, 2026, selected candidates can pay the seat acceptance fee and report to their allotted institutes between July 7 and July 11, 2026 for document verification and admission procedures.

Candidates should check with their respective allotted colleges for specific reporting schedules and additional admission requirements.

Documents Required for WBJEE 2026 Institute Reporting

Candidates appearing for admission reporting must carry original documents along with photocopies. The required documents include:

• WBJEE Rank Card

• WBJEE Admit Card

• Provisional seat allotment letter

• Class 10 admit card or birth certificate

• Valid government-issued photo identity proof

• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets

• West Bengal domicile certificate

• Category certificate (if applicable)

• Income certificate (if applicable)

• PwD certificate (if applicable)

Students may also be required to submit:

• Medical fitness certificate

• Anti-ragging undertaking

• Recent passport-size photographs

WBJEE 2026 Counselling Rounds and Seat Allocation Rules

The WBJEE 2026 counselling process will be conducted in three rounds. Seat allotment in the first round will depend on several factors, including:

• General Merit Rank (GMR)

• Eligibility criteria

• Reservation policies

• Availability of seats

• Candidate’s preference order submitted during choice filling

Candidates who receive their first-choice seat or choose not to participate in upgradation will proceed with admission. Other candidates may continue in subsequent counselling rounds as per the prescribed rules.

WBJEE 2026 Examination Statistics

The WBJEE 2026 result was declared on June 18, 2026. According to the available statistics, 1,20,856 candidates registered for the examination, while 94,901 students appeared.

A total of 92,753 candidates qualified the entrance test, resulting in an overall qualifying percentage of 97.74%.
