The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the exam date for the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2026. As per the UPSC Exam Calendar 2026, the CAPF AC written examination will be conducted on July 19, 2026 (Sunday).

Through this recruitment drive, UPSC will fill 349 Assistant Commandant vacancies across various Central Armed Police Forces, including BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, and SSB. The application process was conducted from February 20 to March 12, 2026. Candidates who successfully submitted their applications can now focus on their preparation for the upcoming examination.
