The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam has issued the Pre-Entry Test (PET) 2026 admit card for admission to the 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) programme for the academic session 2026–28.

Candidates who have successfully completed the application process can now download their hall tickets from the official website scertpet.co.in. The admit card is a compulsory document and must be presented at the examination centre on the day of the test.

SCERT Assam PET 2026 Exam Overview

The Pre-Entry Test is conducted for admission into the 2-Year D.El.Ed. programme offered by various NCTE-recognised Teacher Education Institutions across Assam. These include:

• District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs)

• Colleges of Teacher Education (CTEs)

• Normal Schools

• Basic Training Centres (BTCs)

• Private Teacher Education Institutes (PTEIs)

Exam centres have been allotted based on the district selected by candidates during the application process and are located within the respective Teacher Education Institutions.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates must carefully verify all details mentioned on the admit card after downloading it. The hall ticket must be carried along with a valid photo identity proof on the exam day.

Entry to the examination centre will not be permitted without a valid printed admit card. Candidates are advised to keep multiple copies of the hall ticket for safety and future reference.
