The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has issued the Head Constable (Ministerial) Admit Card 2026 for candidates appearing in the recruitment examination under the Ministry of Home Affairs. Applicants scheduled to take the Computer-Based Test (CBT) on July 7, 2026, can now download their e-admit cards from the official recruitment portal.

The admit card contains important information such as the examination venue, reporting time, exam shift, and instructions that candidates must follow on the day of the examination.

Candidates are advised to download their hall tickets as early as possible to avoid last-minute issues. A printed copy of the admit card, along with a valid photo ID, is mandatory for entry into the examination centre. In case of any error in the personal details printed on the admit card, candidates should immediately contact the recruitment authorities for correction before the examination.

SSB HC Ministerial 2026 Exam Pattern and Selection Process

The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 115 Head Constable (Ministerial) vacancies.

The selection process consists of the following stages:

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• Physical Standard Test (PST)

• Computer-Based Test (CBT)

• Skill/Typing Test

• Document Verification

• Detailed Medical Examination (DME)

The CBT will include 100 objective-type questions carrying a total of 100 marks, with a duration of 2 hours. The question paper will cover:

• General Knowledge

• Mathematics

• Reasoning Ability

• General English or General Hindi

Candidates from the General, EWS, OBC, and Ex-Servicemen categories must secure at least 50% marks to qualify, while SC and ST candidates are required to obtain a minimum of 45% marks.

Eligibility Criteria

As per the official recruitment notification, applicants must be 18 to 25 years of age, with age relaxation available for reserved category candidates according to Government of India norms.

Candidates must have passed Class 12 (Intermediate) from a recognized board. In addition, they should possess a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer.

The final merit list will be prepared primarily on the basis of CBT performance, provided candidates successfully qualify in all other stages of the recruitment process.

Candidates can follow these steps to access their hall ticket:

• First visit the SSB recruitment official portal

• Click on the Head Constable (Ministerial) 2020 e-Admit Card link.

• Enter your Registration ID and Password or other required login credentials.

• Submit the details to view the admit card.

• Download and print the hall ticket for future reference.
