The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has opened the application process for Probationary Officer (PO) and Management Trainee (MT) posts starting from July 1, 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official IBPS website. The registration window will remain active until July 21, 2026.

This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 6715 vacancies across approximately 11 participating banks.

• Correction Window: Open for 2 days after registration closes

• Pre-Exam Training: August 2026

• Mains Exam: October 2026

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must meet the required eligibility conditions before applying.

Educational Qualification

• A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university

• Candidates must hold valid mark sheets and degree certificates at the time of application

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 20 years

• Maximum age: 30 years

• Candidates must be born between July 2, 1997 and July 1, 2006

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: 5 years

• OBC (NCL): 3 years

• PwBD: 10 years

• Other eligible categories: as per government norms

Nationality

• Applicants must be citizens of India and meet all other eligibility conditions specified in the official notification.
