The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has issued the UPTET Admit Card 2026 on June 30, 2026 for candidates appearing in the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test. Candidates can download their hall ticket from the official website or the designated admit card portal using their registration number or mobile number along with other required details.

The UPTET examination will be conducted from July 2 to July 4, 2026 for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 across multiple shifts. Candidates appearing for both papers must download separate admit cards for each exam. After downloading, candidates should carefully verify all details such as name, exam date, reporting time, and examination centre.

Exam Schedule and Pattern

Paper 2 (Classes 6 to 8) will be held on July 2 in two shifts:

• Morning: 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM

• Afternoon: 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM

The same paper will also be conducted on the morning shift of July 3.

Paper 1 (Classes 1 to 5) will be conducted on July 3 (afternoon shift) and July 4 (morning shift).

Candidates must report at the exam centre at least one hour before the scheduled time.

The examination will be conducted in offline mode using OMR sheets. Each paper will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 150 marks, with a total duration of 150 minutes. There will be no negative marking in the exam.

Candidates can download their admit card by following these steps:

• First visit the official website.

• Click on the UPTET Admit Card 2026 link.

• Select the UPTET examination option.

• Enter registration number or mobile number.

• Provide name, father’s name, date of birth, and security code.

• Submit the details to view the admit card.

• Download and print it for future use.

Exam Instructions and Qualifying Criteria

Candidates must carry a printed admit card along with a valid photo ID such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving Licence. A blue or black ballpoint pen and passport-size photographs may also be required at the exam centre.

Electronic devices such as mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, and study material are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.

The UPTET exam determines eligibility for teaching posts in primary and upper primary schools in Uttar Pradesh. Qualified candidates will receive a lifetime-valid eligibility certificate.

The minimum qualifying marks are:

• General category: 90 marks

• SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Ex-Servicemen/Freedom Fighter Dependents/PwD: 82 marks

UPESSC may apply a normalization process if the exam is conducted in multiple shifts or days.
