Description
The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has announced that candidates registered for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2025 can now check their allotted examination city details on the official website from 4 PM onwards. The update was shared during a press briefing at the board headquarters in Bhiwani.
According to BSEH Chairman Shankar Lal Dhupad, the HTET examination will be conducted on July 4 and 5, 2026, at 383 examination centres across Haryana. A total of 2,33,294 candidates have registered for the eligibility test. The board clarified that admit cards will be released separately before the examination.
Enhanced Security Measures for HTET 2026
To ensure a fair and transparent examination process, the board has issued detailed instructions to District Education Officers through a virtual meeting. Officials have been directed to strictly implement all examination guidelines and maintain close monitoring at every centre.
Special flying squads will be deployed to curb unfair practices and ensure smooth conduct of the examination. Additionally, each centre will have a designated board representative along with an administrative or gazetted officer appointed by the district administration.
HTET 2026 Examination Schedule
The examination will be conducted in three levels as per the following schedule:
| Examination Level | Date | Session | Candidates Registered |
Level 3 (PGT) | July 4, 2026 | Evening Session | 73,091 |
Level 2 (TGT) | July 5, 2026 | Morning Session | 1,19,141 |

Control Rooms to Monitor Examination Activities
Board Secretary Munish Sharma (IAS) instructed district authorities to organize coordination meetings under the supervision of Deputy Commissioners. These meetings will involve centre superintendents and administrative officials to review examination arrangements.
To facilitate real-time monitoring, control rooms will function at district education offices from July 3 to July 5. Officials assigned to these centres will remain connected with the central control room at the BSEH headquarters and submit inspection reports during the examination period.
Special Arrangements for Candidates
The board has announced several provisions for candidates requiring special assistance:
Visually impaired and differently-abled candidates will be granted an additional 50 minutes to complete the examination.
Female candidates may wear Mangalsutra and apply Bindi and Sindoor while appearing for the test.
Sikh candidates will be permitted to carry articles of their religious faith as per established guidelines.
Strict Entry and Surveillance Protocols
BSEH has directed authorities to regularly inspect the functioning of surveillance systems, including:
Biometric verification systems
CCTV cameras
Videography arrangements
Electronic jammers
Only authorised personnel carrying valid identity cards will be allowed entry into examination centres. Officials must keep their identification cards visible throughout the examination process.
Candidates are advised to check their allotted exam city online and stay updated regarding the release of HTET 2026 admit cards.
