The National Testing Agency (NTA) is preparing to release the CUET UG Scorecard 2026 after successfully conducting the country’s largest undergraduate entrance examination in computer-based mode. Thousands of students who appeared for the exam between May 11 and June 7, 2026 are now awaiting their results to secure admission into leading central universities.

Following the closure of the answer key objection window on June 11, 2026, the evaluation process is in its final stage. As per official indications, the CUET UG 2026 results are expected to be declared around June 26, 2026, or possibly within the first week of July 2026. The scorecards will be available on the official website cuet.nta.nic.in. The final answer key is likely to be released shortly before or along with the result announcement.

CUET UG 2026 Important Timeline

Candidates can refer to the key schedule below:

• Exam period: May 11 – May 31, 2026

• Re-exam dates: June 6 – June 7, 2026

• Provisional answer key released: June 9, 2026

• Objection window closed: June 11, 2026

• Final answer key (expected): By June 21, 2026

• Result & scorecard (tentative): Around June 26, 2026

• University counselling/cutoff process: From last week of July 2026

High participation in CUET UG 2026

This year’s CUET UG witnessed a record level of participation. A total of approximately 15.68 lakh candidates registered for the exam, showing a significant rise compared to 2025. The exam covered more than 67 lakh test combinations across 37 subjects, including languages, domain subjects, and the general aptitude test.

On average, each candidate selected around four subjects. Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest number of registrations, followed by Delhi and Bihar. Among subjects, English remained the most opted-for paper, with high participation also seen in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and General Aptitude.

Expected CUET UG 2026 cut-offs

As NTA does not publish a centralized cut-off list, individual universities will release their own merit requirements based on normalized scores. Institutions such as Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Banaras Hindu University will prepare separate admission cut-offs through their respective counselling systems.
