The Directorate of Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh, has announced the results of the SSC Advanced Supplementary Examinations (ASE) May 2026. The results bring encouraging news for students across the state, with a significant increase in the overall pass percentage compared to last year.

A total of 94,990 students appeared for the supplementary examinations conducted between May 25 and June 5, 2026. Out of them, 78,261 candidates successfully cleared the exams, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 82.39 percent.

AP SSC ASE 2026 Records Improved Pass Percentage

The pass percentage in the SSC Advanced Supplementary Examinations has increased by 6.25 percentage points compared to the previous year. In 2025, the overall pass rate stood at 76.14 percent, while this year it reached 82.39 percent.

Education officials have attributed this improvement to various academic support initiatives introduced for students who required additional assistance after the SSC Public Examinations held in March 2026.

Government's 20-Day Action Plan Boosts Performance

According to officials, the state's special 20-Day Action Plan played a major role in improving student performance. The programme was conducted from May 5 to May 24, 2026, and focused on intensive coaching, regular assessments, remedial classes, and personalized mentoring.

The initiative was designed to strengthen students' understanding of key concepts and improve their examination preparedness before the supplementary exams.

Gender-Wise Performance

Girls once again outperformed boys in the supplementary examinations. The pass percentage among female candidates was nearly five percentage points higher than that of male students.

A total of 57,811 boys appeared for the examination, out of which 46,512 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 80.46 percent.

Among girls, 37,179 candidates appeared and 31,749 successfully cleared the examination, recording a pass percentage of 85.39 percent.

The consistent performance of girl students reflects stronger academic engagement and sustained learning outcomes across schools in the state.

District-Wise Performance Analysis

Prakasam district emerged as the best-performing district in the SSC Advanced Supplementary Examinations with an impressive pass percentage of 97.96 percent.

Kakinada followed closely with a pass rate of 97.94 percent, while Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district secured 97.45 percent.

On the other hand, NTR district recorded the lowest performance with a pass percentage of 63.18 percent. West Godavari and Eluru districts also reported comparatively lower pass percentages of 68.88 percent and 70.01 percent respectively.

The variation in district-level performance has highlighted the need for targeted academic interventions and balanced educational support in underperforming regions.

Evaluation Process and Result Publication

The valuation of answer scripts was carried out from June 8 to June 10, 2026, at 24 evaluation centres across Andhra Pradesh. The process excluded Parvathipuram Manyam and Alluri Sitharama Raju districts.

To ensure convenient access, the results have been made available through multiple digital platforms, including the official results website, DigiLocker, the LEAP mobile application, and the state's Mana Mitra WhatsApp governance service.

How to Check AP SSC ASE Result 2026

Students can access their results through the following methods:

• First visit the official AP SSC results website and enter the required credentials.

• Access the result through DigiLocker.

• Use the LEAP mobile application.

• Send "Hi" to 95523 00009 on WhatsApp and follow the instructions under the Mana Mitra service.

Recounting and Reverification Process

Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for recounting or reverification of answer scripts.

The online application window will remain open from June 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM to June 26, 2026, at 11:00 PM.

The fee for recounting has been fixed at Rs.500 per subject, while reverification will cost Rs.1,000 per subject.

Officials have clarified that applications will be accepted only through the online mode. Offline applications and payments through CFMS Citizen Challan will not be considered.

Distribution of Original Certificates

The Directorate has confirmed that original SSC certificates will soon be dispatched to schools. Once received, the certificates will be distributed to students through their respective institutions.

Students and parents have been advised to use only the official platforms for result-related services and complete any recounting or reverification requests within the prescribed deadline.

The AP SSC Advanced Supplementary Examination 2026 results reflect a notable improvement in student performance across the state. The increase in pass percentage, successful implementation of academic support programmes, and enhanced digital accessibility indicate positive progress in Andhra Pradesh's secondary education system.
