The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the tentative examination schedule for the second-stage Computer Based Test (CBT 2) under the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate recruitment process conducted through Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 06/2025.

According to the notification, the CBT 2 examination for graduate-level NTPC posts is scheduled to take place on July 10, 2026. Candidates who successfully cleared the first-stage Computer Based Test will be eligible to appear for this next phase of the recruitment process.

RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 Exam Date

The RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 examination has been tentatively fixed for Friday, July 10, 2026. The test is being conducted to fill various graduate-level positions under the NTPC recruitment drive across Indian Railways.

Only candidates who qualified in CBT 1 will be permitted to participate in the second-stage examination.

Exam City Intimation and Travel Authority

RRBs have informed candidates that details regarding the examination city, exam date, and Travel Authority for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates will be made available approximately 10 days before the examination.

Eligible candidates can access these details through the official websites of their respective Railway Recruitment Boards.

Applicants are advised to regularly monitor official portals for updates and important announcements related to the examination.

Admit Card Release Schedule

The e-call letter, commonly referred to as the admit card, will be issued four days before the examination date mentioned in the city intimation slip.

Candidates should download their admit cards promptly and verify all details to avoid any inconvenience on the examination day.

Aadhaar-Based Biometric Verification at Exam Centres

To strengthen the verification process, Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication will be conducted at examination centres before candidates are allowed entry into the test venue.

Candidates must carry either their original Aadhaar card or a printed copy of their electronically verified Aadhaar document. Those who have not completed Aadhaar authentication are advised to update their details through the official RRB application portal before the examination.

Important Guidelines for Candidates

Applicants should ensure that their Aadhaar remains active and accessible in the UIDAI system on the day of the examination.

The Railway Recruitment Boards have also urged candidates to rely solely on official RRB websites for authentic information regarding recruitment and examination updates.

Additionally, candidates have been warned against fraudulent individuals or agencies claiming to offer railway jobs in exchange for money or favours. The boards emphasized that the recruitment process is conducted transparently through Computer Based Tests, and final selection is based strictly on merit.
