Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has commenced the online counselling registration for its 2026 admissions. Eligible candidates can apply until 17 June 2026 through the official website: ipu.ac.in. The counselling and seat allocation will be conducted based on merit criteria, including JEE Main scores or other qualifying examination results, as specified by the University.

Important Guidelines for GGSIPU Counselling 2026

• Candidates must complete the online registration to participate in the counselling rounds.

• A counselling fee of Rs 2,500 is required, which includes Rs 1,500 as participation fee and Rs 1,000 as bank charges.

• Applicants need to submit their preferred college and programme choices.

• Candidates allocated a seat in the first counselling round must pay the partial admission fee within the deadline to confirm their seat.

• During the counselling process, candidates must fill and lock their programme and college preferences.

• The choice filling and locking window is open from 12:00 PM on 11 June 2026 to 11:59 PM on 17 June 2026.

How to Register for GGSIPU Counselling 2026

• Visit the GGSIPU official website.

• Enter the required personal and academic details to generate your login credentials.

• Upload all required documents in the prescribed format.

• Pay the counselling fee online.

• Download and print the payment receipt for future reference.

• Select your preferred colleges and programmes in order of priority and lock your choices before the deadline.

• Seat allotment will be based on merit and candidate preferences.

• Candidates who accept the allotted seat must pay a partial fee of Rs 40,000 to confirm admission.

• After seat allotment, candidates may choose to freeze their seat, withdraw from counselling, or participate in subsequent/upgrade rounds for better options.
