Description

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has begun accepting applications for its Student Internship Scheme (SIS) for the 2026–27 session. The programme is designed for students pursuing postgraduate degrees, PGDM courses, or five-year integrated programmes from recognised institutions in India as well as abroad.

The internship aims to engage students in short-term research assignments and project-based studies that support NABARD’s work in agriculture, rural development, and allied sectors. As per the official notice, Indian students studying in foreign universities are also eligible to apply.

For five-year integrated courses, applicants should have completed or be in their fourth year of study.

Applicants applying for internships in a specific state must either be residents of that state or studying there. However, the five internship positions available at NABARD’s Head Office in Mumbai are open to candidates from across the country.
