The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBoSE) has issued admit cards for the June 2026 session of the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). More than 24,000 aspirants from different parts of Himachal Pradesh will participate in the examination, which serves as a qualifying test for teaching positions in schools.

According to HPBoSE Chairman Dr. Rajesh Sharma, all arrangements have been finalized to ensure the examination is conducted smoothly. The tests are scheduled for June 13 and 14 and will be held in two shifts each day. Candidates can access and download their admit cards from the official HPBoSE website by entering their application number and date of birth.

Examination Schedule

The TET examinations will cover four categories: TGT (Arts), TGT (Medical), JBT, and TGT (Sanskrit).

On June 13, the TGT (Arts) examination will take place in the morning session from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. A total of 10,515 candidates are expected to appear at 68 examination centres across the state. The afternoon session, from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm, will be conducted for TGT (Medical), with 3,318 candidates appearing at 51 centres.

The JBT TET examination, which has attracted the highest number of applicants, will be held on June 14 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. Around 8,925 candidates will take the test at 64 centres. Later that day, the TGT (Sanskrit) examination will be conducted from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm, with 1,394 candidates scheduled to appear at 39 centres.

Dr. Sharma stated that each examination will have a duration of two and a half hours.

Important Instructions for Candidates

HPBoSE has made admit cards available online for all candidates. Applicants must download and print their hall tickets before the examination day.

The board has advised candidates to arrive at their allotted centres well before the reporting time to avoid last-minute difficulties. They must carry a printed admit card along with a valid photo identification document such as an Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Driving Licence.
