The Directorate General of Border Security Force (BSF), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has released an official notification announcing the roll numbers of candidates who have been shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment process for Constable (Tradesman) posts for the 2024–2025 recruitment cycle.

As per the notice dated 09 June 2026, the recruitment advertisement for these vacancies was originally published in Employment News on 26 July 2025, while the detailed notification was uploaded on the official BSF website on 25 July 2025. The last date for submitting online applications was 23 August 2025.

Recruitment timeline and process

Two corrigenda related to the recruitment advertisement were issued on 06 January 2026 and 09 January 2026. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) were conducted at various centres between 26 December 2025 and 28 March 2026.

Candidates shortlisted for the next stage

According to the official notice, a total of 1,81,143 candidates have been provisionally selected for the second phase of the recruitment process, which is the written examination. This includes 1,76,361 male candidates and 4,782 female candidates. These candidates have cleared the physical stages and are now eligible for the written test.

Written examination details

The written test is the second stage of selection for the Constable (Tradesman) recruitment under BSF. The list of shortlisted roll numbers has been released by the recruitment authority located at Block No. 10, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

This recruitment drive covers the examination cycles of 2024 and 2025 and follows the completion of PET and PST conducted at multiple centres across the country. Candidates included in the list will now proceed to the written examination stage as per the official recruitment guidelines.

The roll number list has been prepared based on eligibility after the physical tests and is in line with the recruitment notification and subsequent corrigenda issued in January 2026. Further updates regarding the written exam date and schedule will be released on the official BSF recruitment portal.
