Description

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched the Scribe Details Portal for eligible Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates who will appear in the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. Candidates seeking assistance through a scribe can now submit the required details via the official NEET portal.

The NEET UG 2026 re-test is scheduled following the cancellation of the earlier examination conducted on May 3 due to allegations of irregularities. The fresh examination will be held in offline (pen-and-paper) mode at various centres across India and selected international locations.

NEET UG 2026 City Intimation Slip Released

In addition to opening the scribe registration portal, NTA has also issued the NEET UG 2026 city intimation slip. The document enables candidates to know the city where their examination centre has been allotted before the release of the admit card.

The advance release of city details is intended to help students make necessary travel and accommodation arrangements ahead of the examination scheduled for June 21.

Earlier, NTA announced through its official social media channels that candidates can download the city intimation slip by logging in with their application number and password. The agency emphasized that the city slip is only meant to inform candidates about their allotted exam city and should not be treated as an admit card.

The official NEET UG 2026 admit card will be issued separately before the examination.
