Examination Schedule and Timings

The TG TET 2026 will be conducted from June 16 to 22, 2026, in two sessions per day:

Exam Pattern for Paper 1 and Paper 2

The TG TET exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with one mark for each correct answer and no negative marking.

Paper 1 – For candidates teaching Classes 1 to 5, covering:

• Child Development and Pedagogy – 30 questions

• Language I – 30 questions

• Language II (English) – 30 questions

• Mathematics – 30 questions

• Environmental Studies – 30 questions

Paper 2 – For candidates teaching Classes 6 to 8, covering:

• Child Development and Pedagogy – 30 questions

• Language I – 30 questions

• Language II (English) – 30 questions

• Mathematics & Science OR Social Studies – 60 questions
