The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has published the list of candidates shortlisted for the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2025 on its official website. A total of 41,695 candidates have been selected to appear for the preliminary stage under Advertisement No. 01/2026.

Candidates who successfully applied for the examination can now download the shortlist PDF from apsc.nic.in. The prelims examination is tentatively scheduled to be held on July 5, 2026.

The list of eligible candidates for the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Prelims 2025 is available in PDF format on the official portal. Candidates can access it through the official website link provided by APSC.

APSC CCE 2026 Exam Pattern

The Combined Competitive Examination (Preliminary) 2025 will be conducted in objective-type mode. The exam structure includes:

• Paper I: General Studies I – 200 marks

• Paper II: General Studies II – 200 marks (Qualifying paper with minimum 33% requirement)

Key Exam Highlights

• Exam Type: Objective Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

• Duration: 2 hours per paper

• Negative Marking: 1/4th mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer

• Multiple answers will also be treated as wrong
