The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the ICAR AIEEA PG 2026 and ICAR AICE JRF/SRF (PhD) 2026 entrance examinations. Candidates who have not yet applied can now submit their application forms through the official portal at exams.nta.nic.in/icar until June 10, 2026.

The extension has been granted following requests from candidates and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). As per the official update, the application process for both examinations is still active.

Revised Schedule for ICAR AIEEA PG & AICE JRF/SRF 2026

Candidates are advised to complete their registration well before the revised deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.

ICAR AIEEA PG & AICE JRF/SRF 2026 Exam Date

The entrance examinations are scheduled to be conducted on July 4, 2026.

• ICAR AICE JRF/SRF (PhD) will cover 72 subjects across 89 cities

• ICAR AIEEA PG will include 20 subjects and be conducted in 122 cities across India

Application Fee Structure

The category-wise application fee details are as follows:

• General / Unreserved: Rs 1,300 (AIEEA PG), Rs 2,000 (AICE JRF/SRF)

• OBC-NCL / EWS / UPS: Rs 1,255 (AIEEA PG), Rs 1,955 (AICE JRF/SRF)

• SC / ST / PwBD / Third Gender: Rs 675 (AIEEA PG), Rs 1,075 (AICE JRF/SRF)

Exam Pattern

Both examinations will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode with the following structure:

• Duration: 2 hours

• Total Questions: 120

• Marking Scheme: +4 for each correct answer

• Negative Marking: -1 for each incorrect answer

Guidelines for PwBD Candidates

Candidates belonging to PwD/PwBD categories must undergo verification of their UDID (Unique Disability ID) card by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.

Those who do not have a UDID card are required to upload a valid disability certificate during registration. The certificate may be verified by the issuing authority if necessary.
