The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) have published the provisional answer key for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026. Candidates who appeared for the entrance examination can now access the answer key through the official admission portal at iiseradmission.in.

The release of the answer key shortly after the exam allows candidates to evaluate their performance and estimate their probable scores before the announcement of the final results.

The IISER Aptitude Test 2026 was conducted on June 7, 2026, in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.

This entrance examination is conducted for admission into various undergraduate programmes offered by IISER campuses, including:

• BS-MS (Bachelor of Science–Master of Science) Dual Degree programmes

• Bachelor of Science (BS) programmes

• Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programmes

Candidates can now match their responses with the official provisional answer key to assess their expected scores.

How to Download IISER IAT 2026 Answer Key

Candidates can follow the steps below to access the provisional answer key:

• Visit the official IISER admission portal at iiseradmission.in

• Click on the “IAT 2026 Provisional Answer Key” link available on the homepage

• Log in using the required credentials, if prompted

• View the answer key displayed on the screen

• Compare it with your recorded responses

• Download and save the PDF for future reference

Response Sheet and Objection Window

The authorities will release the candidate response sheets on June 9, 2026. Along with this, the objection window will also be opened for candidates to challenge discrepancies, if any.

Candidates will be able to:

• Compare their marked responses with the provisional answer key

• Raise objections against any incorrect answers

• Submit challenges within the specified time frame

All submitted objections will be reviewed by IISER officials before the final answer key is published.
