Description

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is scheduled to release the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 results today, June 6 at 2 PM. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to access and download their scorecards from the official website once the result link becomes active.

KCET is conducted for admission into various undergraduate programmes in Karnataka, including engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy courses offered by participating colleges across the state.

Over 3.3 Lakh Candidates Registered

As per official records, 3,30,479 candidates registered for KCET 2026. Out of these, approximately 3.1 to 3.2 lakh students appeared for the examination.

The entrance test was conducted on April 23 and April 24, 2026, at 745 examination centres across Karnataka. The exam was held in two shifts each day — the morning session from 10:30 AM to 11:50 AM and the afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 3:50 PM.

Steps to Download KCET 2026 Result

Candidates can check their results by following the steps below:

  • Visit the KCET official website.

  • Click on the “KCET Result 2026” link available on the homepage

  • Enter the required login credentials

  • View the result displayed on the screen

  • Download and save the scorecard for future use

What Happens After KCET Result 2026?

After the results are announced, KEA will prepare rank lists and merit lists based on candidates’ performance. Separate merit lists will be issued for different categories as part of the admission process.

The KCET 2026 ranks will be used for admissions into engineering, agriculture, pharmacy, and other professional courses across Karnataka colleges.

Candidates can check updates regarding counselling and admission procedures through the official KEA website or contact the authority via its official support channels.

KCET 2026 Answer Key and Objection Process

KEA initially released the provisional answer key shortly after the examination and allowed candidates to raise objections by paying a prescribed fee.

The objection window remained open until April 30, 2026. After evaluating all challenges, the final answer key was released on May 10, 2026.
