The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has announced the final results for 2026, enabling candidates to view their overall scores, All India Ranks, and merit positions online.

With the release of the results, the next phase of admissions for NIFT campuses nationwide—centralised counselling and seat allocation—will commence. Students who appeared for the Situation Test, Studio Test, and Personal Interview rounds can now check their results through the official NIFT admission portal.

The final merit list has been compiled based on candidates’ performances across all stages of the entrance process, assessing both creative and general aptitude to ensure a holistic evaluation for admission into design and fashion technology programs.

For the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) courses, final scores are derived from the Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT), and Situation Test. For Master of Design (M.Des) programs, the final marks include GAT, CAT, and Personal Interview scores. Admission to Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.FTech) courses relies solely on the GAT score.

How to Check NIFT 2026 Results

• Visit the official NIFT admission portal.

• Click on the link titled “NIFT 2026 Final Scorecard.”

• Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth (or password).

• Complete the security captcha and submit.

• View your scorecard, Common Merit Rank (CMR), and category rank.

• Download and save the scorecard for future reference and admission procedures.

Candidates can also use the direct link on the official portal to access the NIFT Stage 2 results for 2026.
