The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) is set to release the final merit list for the Intelligence Bureau (IB) Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Executive (ACIO-II/Exe) Examination 2025. Candidates who participated in the multi-stage selection process can soon access their results on the official MHA website. Applicants are advised to keep their login credentials handy to quickly check the final selection list once it is published.

This recruitment drive plays a key role in enhancing the nation’s internal security by inducting skilled administrative executives. The final result will reflect candidates’ combined performances in both the written examinations and the recently completed personality assessment interviews.

Selection Process and Timeline

The ACIO-II/Exe 2025 recruitment process began with the Tier-1 Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted nationwide in January 2025. Following the release of Tier-1 results, eligible candidates appeared for the Tier-2 descriptive exam, the results of which were announced on March 5, 2026.

Those who cleared the Tier-2 cut-offs were called for the final Tier-3 interview, held across multiple regional centres in April and May 2026. The final merit list is now being prepared based on the cumulative performance across all stages.

• Navigate to the “What’s New” or “Vacancies” section on the homepage.

• Click the link labeled “Final Result of ACIO-II/Exe Exam 2025.”

• The PDF with selected roll numbers will open.

• Download and save the document for reference.

• Use the search function (Ctrl + F) to locate your roll number.
