The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has published an updated exam timetable for the UP GIC Lecturer Recruitment 2026 under Advertisement No. A-6/E-1/2025 on June 2, 2026. As per the revised notice, the examination will now be held on June 14 and June 17, 2026. Candidates who have applied for the 1518 lecturer posts can view the detailed subject-wise schedule on the official notification issued by the commission.

UP GIC Lecturer Exam Date 2026 (Revised)

The written examination will be conducted in offline OMR-based mode across 67 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The exam is scheduled on two dates:

• June 14, 2026

• June 17, 2026

On June 14, the preliminary exam for 13 subjects will take place from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. On June 17, exams for Psychology, Criminology, and Penology will be conducted in Lucknow from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM in separate shifts.
