Description

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has issued detailed guidelines for correcting errors in dummy admit cards for the D.El.Ed. (Face-to-Face) Examination, 2026. This notice applies to both government and private teacher training institutes recognized by the NCTE and affiliated with the board.

According to Advertisement No. PR 124/2026, dummy admit cards for online applications submitted between May 15 and May 30, 2026, are now available on the BSEB portal for verification. The correction facility will be accessible from June 2 to June 6, 2026.

Verification of Dummy Admit Cards

Principals of affiliated institutions are required to download the dummy admit cards in three copies from the official portal. Two signed and sealed copies should be given to students, while the remaining copy should be retained at the institution.

Students must carefully review the information on their dummy admit cards. Common details requiring verification include:

  • Student’s name

  • Parent’s names (father/mother)

  • Subject details

  • Gender

  • Disability category

  • Religion

  • Photograph and signature

Correction Process

If discrepancies are found, students must indicate the corrections on the dummy admit card, sign it, and submit it to their principal. The principal will verify the details against institutional records and update the corrections on the BSEB portal.

The board has emphasized that corrections will only be accepted within the specified dates. No requests for amendments will be entertained after the deadline.

Special Window for Pending Applications

BSEB has also opened a special window for institutions that could not submit application forms despite paying the examination fee, as well as those that have not yet submitted fees or applications for eligible students.

  • Submission window: June 2 to June 4, 2026

  • Dummy admit cards generated from these late submissions will be available for verification from June 5 to June 6, 2026

Students whose applications are not submitted within this window will not receive original admit cards, and the responsibility for any resulting issues will lie with the respective institution and student.
