Description

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has announced the results of the MBA/MMS CET 2026, conducted for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Management Studies (MMS) programmes for the 2026–27 academic session.

This year, eight candidates achieved a perfect 100 percentile score in the examination. Among them, six candidates belong to Maharashtra, while two are from other states. Candidates can access their results through their login credentials on the official CET Cell portal. The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for MBA/MMS admissions is expected to commence soon.

The MBA/MMS CET 2026 was held between April 6 and April 8 across five sessions over three days. A total of 1,32,838 candidates registered for the examination, out of which 1,16,196 appeared, resulting in an attendance rate of 87.47%.

Of the total candidates who took the test, 1,12,601 were from Maharashtra, while 3,595 belonged to other states. The computer-based examination was conducted at 181 centres spread across all 36 districts of Maharashtra. No exam centres were located outside the state.

Candidates Who Scored 100 Percentile

The following candidates secured a perfect 100 percentile in MBA/MMS CET 2026:

  • Sahil Balasaheb Gajare (Nashik, Maharashtra)

  • Parth Satish Malsaria (Nagpur, Maharashtra)

  • Naman Agrawal (Nagpur, Maharashtra)

  • Yashodhara Raje Rathod (Nagpur, Maharashtra)

  • Shashank Chandrahas Prabhu (Mumbai, Maharashtra)

  • Shubhangi Sandeep Thakur (Amravati, Maharashtra)

  • Akshay Pradhan (Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh)

  • Rudra Kainthura (Dehradun, Uttarakhand)

Among the toppers, six are male candidates and two are female candidates.

Understanding Percentile and Percentage

The CET Cell has clarified that MBA/MMS CET results are released in the form of percentiles rather than percentages.

While a percentage reflects the marks obtained out of the total available marks, a percentile indicates a candidate’s performance relative to other test-takers. It shows the proportion of candidates who scored equal to or below a particular score and is calculated using a standard statistical method.

Category-Wise Top Performers

Several candidates emerged as the highest scorers in their respective categories. Sahil Balasaheb Gajare from Nashik topped the OBC category with 100 percentile, while Parth Satish Malsaria, Naman Agrawal, Shashank Chandrahas Prabhu, and Shubhangi Sandeep Thakur secured 100 percentile in the Open category.

Other category toppers include Mayur Kushab Urade (SC) with 99.98 percentile, Darshan Rajesh Dhanajkar (ST) with 99.73 percentile, Anuja Avinash Bhagwat (SBC) with 99.96 percentile, and Siddhant Pradeepsing Pardeshi (DT/V) with 99.99 percentile.

The CET Cell has stated that the percentile scores were calculated through a standardized evaluation process and advised candidates to assess their performance based on percentile rankings rather than percentage marks.

With the declaration of results, candidates can now prepare for the upcoming CAP counselling process for admission to MBA and MMS programmes across Maharashtra.
