Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has officially released the examination schedule for the Senior Executive Trainee (SET) Recruitment Examination 2026. Candidates who completed the application process can now check the exam date notice through the official BSNL website.

According to the official announcement, the BSNL SET Recruitment Exam 2026 will be conducted on July 5, 2026 (Sunday). The examination is being organized for recruitment under both the Telecom and Finance streams.

BSNL is conducting this recruitment drive to fill a total of 120 Senior Executive Trainee vacancies. Out of these, 95 posts have been allotted to the Telecom Stream, while the remaining 25 vacancies are reserved for the Finance Stream.

BSNL SET Exam Pattern 2026

As per the details shared by BSNL, the examination will consist of 200 objective-type questions carrying one mark each. Candidates will get a total duration of three hours to complete the test.

The company has also confirmed the presence of negative marking in the examination. For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted from the candidate’s total score.

Admit Card Release Details

BSNL is likely to issue the admit cards approximately four to five days before the examination date. Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets from the official portal using their login credentials.

The admit card will contain important details such as the examination centre address, reporting time, shift timing, and candidate information. Applicants are advised to regularly visit the official website for the latest updates regarding admit cards and exam-related instructions.
