The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has published the provisional answer key for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2026 on May 27 through its official website. Candidates who appeared for the entrance exam can now access and download the model answer key online.

Along with the release of the answer key, the board has also activated the objection facility, allowing candidates to challenge any answer they believe is incorrect in the provisional key.

The window for submitting objections will remain open until May 29, 2026, up to 11:59 PM, through the official portal.

Steps to Download WBJEE 2026 Answer Key

Candidates can follow these steps to check and download the provisional answer key:

• First visit the WBJEEB official website.

• Click on the “WBJEE 2026 Answer Key” link available on the homepage

• Enter your application number, password, date of birth, and security code

• Submit the login details

• The answer key PDF will be displayed on the screen

• Download and save it for future reference

WBJEE 2026 Answer Key Objection Process

Candidates who are not satisfied with any of the answers provided can raise objections online by following these steps:

• Log in to the WBJEEB portal using application credentials

• Select the question(s) you wish to challenge

• Upload valid supporting documents as proof

• Pay the prescribed objection fee

• Submit the challenge form online

Objections submitted without proper documentation or successful payment will not be considered by the board.

WBJEE 2026 Objection Fee

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 500 per question challenged. The payment can be made using net banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI.

Important Instructions

Candidates may challenge multiple questions, but all objections must be submitted in a single attempt through the portal.

All submitted challenges will be reviewed by WBJEEB experts. If any objection is found valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly. The board’s final decision on the revised answer key will be binding, and no further communication will be entertained.

The final WBJEE 2026 result, including ranks and scores, will be prepared based on the updated final answer key released after the review process.
