The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala, has officially announced the Kerala Plus Two Result 2026. The results were declared by General Education Minister N Shamsudheen after the completion of the evaluation process for Class 12 students across Kerala and overseas centres.

This year, the examinations were conducted in 2005 schools across Kerala, Lakshadweep, and GCC countries. More than 4.25 lakh students appeared for the DHSE higher secondary examinations in 2026.

Kerala DHSE Result 2026 Overall Performance

In the regular higher secondary category, a total of 3,72,423 students appeared for the examinations. Out of these, 2,09,398 students qualified for higher education admissions.

The overall pass percentage in Kerala DHSE Plus Two Result 2026 stood at 77.97%, slightly higher than last year’s 77.81%.

Girls Outperform Boys Again

The gender-wise performance analysis once again showed girls performing significantly better than boys in the Kerala DHSE examinations.

Girls recorded a pass percentage of 86.89%, while boys secured 68.41%. This trend has continued consistently in Kerala’s higher secondary examination results over recent years.

Science Stream Records Highest Pass Percentage

Among all academic streams, Science students achieved the best performance in the DHSE Plus Two examinations.

The Science stream recorded a pass percentage of 84.52%. Commerce students achieved 74.74%, while Humanities students recorded 66.38%, making it the lowest-performing stream this year.

School-wise Performance Highlights

Among different school categories, special schools achieved the highest performance with a pass percentage of 85.67%.

Aided schools also performed strongly with 82.82%, followed by unaided schools at 78.18%. Government schools recorded a pass percentage of 72.66%.

Idukki Emerges as Best Performing District

District-wise performance data showed that Idukki emerged as the top-performing district in Kerala with a pass percentage of 84.64%.

Kasaragod recorded the lowest pass percentage at 71.72%.

The results also revealed that 76 schools achieved 100% eligibility for higher education admissions.

More Than 30,000 Students Secure Full A+

A total of 30,561 regular students secured full A+ grades in all subjects, reflecting strong academic achievement among Kerala higher secondary students.

The Kerala DHSE Plus Two Result 2026 continued to highlight the strong performance of Science stream students compared to Commerce and Humanities.

The gender gap in academic performance also remained noticeable, with girls continuing to outperform boys by a wide margin.

Students who qualified in the examinations will now proceed with admissions to universities, degree colleges, and professional courses in Kerala and across India.

2.Then click on the “DHSE Plus Two Result 2026” link available on the homepage.

3. Enter your registration number and date of birth in the required fields.

4. Click on the “Submit” or “View Result” button.

5. The Kerala Plus Two Result 2026 will appear on the screen.

6. Check all details carefully, including subject-wise marks and qualifying status.

7. Download and save the scorecard for future reference.

Students are also advised to take a printout of the provisional marksheet for admission purposes.
