Description

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has published the provisional answer key for JEE Advanced 2026 on its official website, jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now download the answer key online.

To access it, candidates must log in using their registration number and date of birth. The provisional answer key allows students to verify their responses and estimate their scores.

Candidates who find discrepancies in the answer key can raise objections until May 26, 2026, up to 5 PM.

Earlier, the response sheets were released on May 21, while the question papers for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 were made available on May 17.

After reviewing all objections submitted by candidates, IIT Roorkee will publish the final answer key along with the JEE Advanced 2026 results on June 1, 2026.

How to download JEE Advanced 2026 Answer Key

Candidates can follow these steps:

  • Visit the official JEE Advanced website

  • Click on the “Provisional Answer Key for JEE Advanced 2026” link on the homepage

  • Log in using registration number and date of birth

  • Select Paper 1 or Paper 2

  • Choose language preference if applicable

  • Download the answer key PDF for reference

How to challenge the answer key

Candidates who wish to raise objections can:

  • Log in to the official candidate portal

  • Select the answer key challenge option

  • Choose the relevant paper and question number

  • Upload supporting documents or solution proof in PDF format

  • Pay the objection fee online

  • Submit the form and save the acknowledgement receipt

Objection fee details

Candidates must pay Rs 500 per question while submitting challenges. Payment can be made through debit card, credit card, or net banking.

If the objection is accepted by the expert committee, the fee will be refunded. If rejected, the amount will not be returned.
