The Jharkhand Academic Council has extended the deadline for submitting the application form for the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can now complete the online application process through the official website before 2 June 2026.

JTET 2026 Application Process

The online registration link for JTET 2026 has been made available on the council’s official portal. Applicants are advised to fill out the form carefully and ensure all details are correct to avoid errors during submission.

JTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the required educational qualifications to apply for the examination:

• Applicants should have passed the Intermediate examination with at least 50% marks.

• Candidates holding a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education are eligible.

• Those with a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education can also apply for JTET 2026.

JTET 2026 Application Fee

The application fee differs according to category and the level applied for:

• Candidates from the ST, SC, and PwBD categories need to pay Rs 700 for either Primary or Upper Primary level, while the fee for both levels together is Rs 800.

• General, EWS, and BC category candidates must pay Rs 1300 for one level and Rs 1500 for both levels combined.

• Applicants from the Primitive Tribe category are required to pay Rs 500 for a single level and Rs 600 for both levels.

Candidates can follow these steps to complete the application process online:

• Open the JTET 2026 registration link.

• Log in using the required credentials.

• Upload the necessary documents.
