Former Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal’s startup, Parallel Web Systems, officially launched its new platform, Index, on 19 May 2026. The platform is designed to help content creators and publishers receive compensation whenever artificial intelligence systems use their original content.

About the Index Platform

Index uses a game theory concept known as the Shapley value to determine the contribution of each creator to AI-generated outputs. The platform enables website owners to register their domains and track how Parallel’s AI agents access and utilize their content.

Compensation Model and Partnerships

The platform has already partnered with major publishers and data companies such as The Atlantic, Fortune, PR Newswire, PitchBook, and ZoomInfo. Independent creators can also register on the platform to gain insights into how their content is used and explore opportunities for compensation.

Funding and Company Growth

In late April 2026, Parallel Web Systems raised 100 million dollars in a Series B funding round led by Sequoia Capital. Following the investment, the company’s valuation reached nearly 2 billion dollars.
