Description
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Commission (UPSSC) will conduct the UP Lekhpal Mains Exam 2026 on 21 May 2026. The examination will be held in a single shift from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Candidates are advised to revise important notes and focus on last-minute preparation to maximize their performance.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 7,994 Lekhpal vacancies across Uttar Pradesh. The selection process includes a Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) followed by the Mains examination.

UP Lekhpal Exam Pattern 2026
The mains exam is offline (pen-and-paper) and MCQ-based, with a total of 100 questions carrying 100 marks. Note that 1/4th negative marking is applicable for incorrect answers.
