The Directorate of Government Examinations Tamil Nadu has announced the TN SSLC Result 2026 today on its official result portal. Students who appeared for the Class 10 board examinations can now check and download their provisional marksheets by entering their registration number and date of birth. The result link was made active at 9:30 AM across the state.

This year, the overall pass percentage for the Tamil Nadu SSLC examinations stood at 94.31%, showing a marginal improvement of 0.15% compared to the previous year. Around 8.71 lakh students had appeared for the exams conducted between March 11 and April 6.

Girls outperform boys in TN SSLC 2026

As per the official results, female students recorded a higher pass percentage of 96.47%, while male students achieved 92.15%. The gap between boys’ and girls’ performance remains evident in this year’s board results.

Students can view their subject-wise scores and qualifying status through official websites as well as digital platforms such as DigiLocker.

Pudukottai tops district performance

Among all districts, Pudukottai emerged as the best-performing district in the TN SSLC Result 2026 with a pass percentage of 97.5%. The state also reported that 5,171 schools achieved a 100% pass result this year, reflecting strong academic performance across institutions.

Multiple platforms to check results

Apart from TN Results Portal, students can also access their results through other official websites including dge.tn.gov.in, dge1.tn.nic.in, and dge2.tn.nic.in.

To manage heavy traffic, the board has also enabled result access via DigiLocker and UMANG apps. Students can log in using their registered mobile number or Aadhaar-linked credentials. Additionally, SMS services are available by sending “TNBOARD10” along with the registration number and date of birth to 9282232585.

Provisional marksheet details

The online result released is provisional. Students will need to collect their original marksheets and certificates from their respective schools later.

The marksheet includes important details such as the student’s name, roll number, date of birth, school name, subject-wise marks, total marks, and result status. Candidates are advised to carefully verify all information after downloading their scorecard.
