Description
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority has activated the answer key objection facility for the Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment examination conducted for 104 posts. However, the authority has not yet announced the deadline for submitting objections to the provisional answer key.
Candidates who appeared for the computer-based test held on May 11 and 12, 2026, can download the answer key PDF from the official website. The provisional answer key allows applicants to compare their responses and estimate their likely scores before the results are declared.
Objection process underway
MMRDA has enabled the online objection submission link on its portal. Candidates can log in using their credentials, select the questions they wish to challenge, and upload supporting documents while filing objections. The authority has also indicated that a prescribed objection fee may apply.
Although the objection window is currently open, MMRDA has not yet released the final schedule for raising challenges. After reviewing all objections, the authority will publish the final answer key, followed by the announcement of results on the official website.
The JE recruitment process includes multiple stages such as a computer-based examination, skill or trade test for applicable posts, and document verification.
Admit cards released for Group A, B, and C exams
In a separate update, MMRDA has issued admit cards for the Group A, Group B, and Group C recruitment examinations scheduled on May 11 and 12, 2026. Registered candidates can access and download their hall tickets from the official portal using their registration number along with their password or date of birth.
The recruitment campaign aims to fill 254 vacancies across various departments. These include posts such as Assistant Division Engineer (Civil), Assistant Engineer (Civil), Junior Engineer (Civil), Technician, Clerk, Administrative staff, Accounts personnel, IT professionals, and other support roles.
Candidates have been advised to carefully check details mentioned on the admit card, including exam date, reporting time, shift timing, and examination centre address. Any discrepancies should be reported to the concerned authority immediately.
JE exam structure and pay scale
The MMRDA JE 2026 recruitment notification was released on February 28, 2026, and the application process remained open until March 20, 2026.
The Junior Engineer examination consists of 100 questions carrying a total of 200 marks. The paper covers subjects such as Marathi, English, General Awareness, Mental Ability, and Technical Subjects.
Candidates selected through the recruitment process will receive a salary package ranging from Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 1,77,500, along with additional allowances and medical benefits.
