The Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi has published the M.Tech admission 2026 merit list along with the Round 1 seat allotment results for various programmes, including Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), CSE-Research, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and Computational Biology (CB). Candidates can now view their merit status and allotment details on the official website.

The M.Tech admission process started on March 16, 2026, and the application window remained open until April 13, 2026. Prior to this, the institute conducted an online open house session on March 27, 2026, for interested applicants.

Admit cards for CSE and CSE-Research entrance tests, as well as interview invitations for ECE (non-GATE) and Computational Biology candidates, were issued on April 20, 2026.

The PGCAT-IIITD exam for CSE and CSE-Research programmes took place on May 3, 2026. Interviews for non-GATE ECE applicants and GATE CSE-Research candidates were held around May 7, while interviews for Computational Biology candidates were conducted in a hybrid format on the same day.

Candidates can access their results by following these steps:

• First visit the official website.

• Click on the “Admissions” tab on the homepage

• Select “MTech” from the options

• Scroll to find links for the merit list and Round 1 seat allotment

• Open the relevant result link

• Download and save the allotment list for future use

According to the official guidelines, candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, PwD, and CW must present valid category certificates during physical verification. In particular, OBC-NCL and EWS candidates are required to submit certificates issued for the current financial year. Failure to produce valid documents may result in cancellation of admission.
