The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued a notice for candidates appearing in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026, especially those who have completed their Class 12 from boards such as CBSE, CISCE, and other state education boards.

As per the notification, these candidates must update their Class 12 marks on the KEA portal so that their academic scores can be automatically retrieved through DigiLocker. The authority has clearly stated that manual entry of marks or submission of physical mark sheets will not be accepted.

Candidates can complete this process through the official KEA CET online portal. KEA has also cautioned that failure to update marks may lead to withholding of KCET 2026 results.

Who Needs to Update KCET 2026 Marks?

This requirement applies to students who passed Class 12 from:

• CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education)

• CISCE/ICSE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations)

• Other state education boards

Students from these boards must complete the mark updation process without delay.

Steps to Update KCET 2026 Marks

Candidates can follow the steps below:

• Log in to DigiLocker and download the Class 12 marksheet

• Grant permission on the KEA portal to fetch marks automatically via DigiLocker

• Visit the official KCET marks update portal

• Log in using the required credentials

• Verify the details and complete the online submission process

KEA has made DigiLocker integration mandatory for updating marks on the CET portal.

Candidates are advised to complete the process at the earliest to ensure smooth participation in KCET 2026 counselling and merit preparation.
