Description

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board has released the official schedule for the DCECE 2026. As per the notification, the examination for PE, PM, and PMM courses will be conducted on May 23 and May 24, 2026.

The entrance test is organised for admission into diploma and certificate programmes in Bihar, including Polytechnic Engineering (PE), Para Medical Secondary Level (PM), and Para Medical Intermediate Level (PMM) courses.

Admit Card Release Date

The board has confirmed that admit cards for DCECE 2026 will be made available on May 14, 2026. Registered candidates will be able to download their hall tickets from the official website of BCECEB.

To access the admit card, applicants must log in using their registration number and password or date of birth. After downloading, candidates should carefully check all details mentioned on the hall ticket, such as name, exam centre, reporting time, and other personal information.

Candidates are required to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof on the day of the examination.

Steps to Download Admit Card

Candidates can follow these steps to download their hall ticket:

  • Visit the official website of BCECEB.

  • Click on the “DCECE (PE/PM/PMM) 2026 Admit Card” link on the homepage

  • Enter registration number and password or date of birth

  • Submit the details to view the admit card

  • Download and print the hall ticket for future use

Exam Pattern for DCECE 2026

The DCECE 2026 examination will be conducted in offline mode using an OMR-based pen-and-paper format. The question paper will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) available in both Hindi and English languages.

Key exam details include:

  • Duration: 2 hours 15 minutes

  • Total Questions: 90

  • Total Marks: 450

  • Marking Scheme: 5 marks for each correct answer

  • Negative Marking: Not applicable

The board has advised candidates to reach the examination centre on time and follow all instructions mentioned on the admit card carefully.
